So, I was searching for something, (work related of course) and went to check out Elin Klings site but instead of .se I put in .com . I must admit that look could be big down at Stureplan with the right 3rd party endorsement and placement of those clay heads on the key fashionistas. As we know it could be anywhere between two weeks and six months before that trend comes through Spybar and hits every small towns MQ.

So, today was a crazy day, lots to do before London tomorrow, I took lunch with Johan and Thea at PUB. We all seem to have had the same thought ‘healthy’ and went for the Haloumi Salad, must have been the weekend reminding us to eat healthy. Anyway I just remembered to check up on my friend Hanna, as I heard she is in London recording some tracks certainly worth checking out her current tracks. Whilst in London, I’ve unfortunately got far too much to do, so there won’t be much fun to be had but I think I will squeeze a quick visit to this pop up gallery just off Carnaby Street.

So, seeing as 7inch is a little more streetwear orientated than I seem to be these days, I decided today to readdress the balance somewhat. So here we go. Seems like this weekend I missed DJ Godfather at Berns, Decida went Madonna crazy on her blog, Jonas discovered a friend for his burger and Peter got his hands on the AM90 Kaws. I will now balance this with a craving forGalettes I just discovered this new Bar Breton in NYC and I am loving the menu, takes me back to summer holidays in Normandy.

So, Im up far too late watching Andreas Tillandermake music. Im feeling a little delicate after a fantastic dinner of roast chicken last night followed by an appearance at 24hrs 3rd year anniversary. To comfort my poor head I turned the leftovers into quite possibly one of the best risottos I have made in ages thanks to my favourite cook Nigel Slater… I agree with him and also think there’s nothing more calming than the blup blup of a stock on the stove…

I’ve been really slack setting up a twitter account and actually updating it in the past but now I have set one up.

So, yesterday, I had lunch at Publik on the third floor of PUB with Kissey, we’d been chatting on email but never met so it was time to discuss her past projects and potential future projects. She had the goat’s cheese salad I took the peppered salmon, lunch at Publik is always great and the venue remarkably relaxing even though it’s full with folk tucking into their lunch.

So, I should have mentioned, the day was ended by Daniel meeting his idol Bob Stanley from St:Etienne (Im a little blasé being English) as well as legend Don Letts at the Original Penguin party which was fun as we got a little drunk on a Swedish Vodka called Camitz I had never heard of before but the drinks were great, if strong. Dinner was a staunch favorite of mine Carluccio’sCarluccio’s, it’s a chain of Italian Deli/Café’s all over London, the food is good, reasonably priced and you can safely eat in them all over town without being disappointed.

So I was in London last week on a little work errand, every time I have to go to London I always take lunch at the same restaurant. I am a creature of habit, 50% of the time and the other 50% always looking for something new to replace my last habit. Well this habit involves eating the best English food I can find and St-Johns Bread and Wine gives me that hit each and every time I go there. I like the one on Commercial Street a little more than the original as it’s near some of my favorite shops in East London, Rough Trade East & Butcher of Distinction. So after a revitalizing lunch of cold grouse & damson jelly, rolled spleen, mackerel and pickled cabbage, purple sprouting broccoli and Eccles Cake and Lancastershire Cheese, Daniel and I, (my companion on this trip) headed West to see an old friend, Kim and get probably one of the first peeks at his AW09 collection plus his rather interesting zebra couch.

So, I am a little late starting this blog I should have begun last week when my life was kind of interesting, now this week it’s a little more quiet which I quite enjoy but you will have to endure, trust me it won’t get more dull…
