So, Saturday morning just before braving Ostermälm’s Saluhall to pick up some Christmas food we decided to try out the reasonably newly opened Rue de Pont Nouveau Patisserie - Restaurant. A rather grand name for a rather grand place. It felt like a modern ’space age’ rework of MelkersLa Rouge . We received great and friendly service, the grilled sandwiches came with a fantastic side salad of sliced green beans, white beans, carrot and mix leaves and the coffees were well made, but the price, well I think its the most I have paid for a Cappuccino in Stockholm so far, 38Kr. A good place to go if you want a luxurious breakfast, and you are over that side of town but there are better priced and better places to go if you love cafes.
